Ludvig Aberg and Scottie Scheffler are the main names of the PGA Tour, along with several other golfers who are also impressive. The Swedish golfer played in the same group at the Arnold Palmer Invitational together with Scottie Scheffler. There is enormous respect between the two golfers, and Aberg’s words last year are the best testimony to that.Â
The young golfer admitted that Scheffler is his favorite golfer on the PGA Tour
“Someone asked me who’s my favourite golfer on tour, and I said Scottie,” he said, as quoted by Express.
“Not only because of the way he plays, but the person he is.”
Scottie Scheffler, world number 1, knew how to return the compliment, talking about his relationship with the Swede after winning the Masters. The 28-year-old golfer pointed out then that Aberg is a person who plays great golf, even though he was never in a group with him.
“I hadn’t played much golf with him, I had heard about him, and he had been playing some really good golf last summer but I had never been paired with him.”Â
Scottie Scheffler shares his emotions about LudvigÂ
Scottie explained how he met this young golfer, saying they met at one of the evening events and ended up sitting next to each other. According to him, Aberg seems like a really nice guy. Scheffler has played a few practice rounds with him this year and definitely finds him to be a very pleasant guy.
This great golfer shared that Ludvig is fun to be around and has the personality that will allow him to be successful in the long run. Although he is very competitive, Aberg doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously. Scottie said that Aberg works hard on his physical health, and that he sees him in the trailer after rounds working out, emphasizing that he is doing the right things for a successful career.
