Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly escalating their efforts to sign Crystal Palace’s standout midfielder, Eberechi Eze, by preparing a substantial player-plus-cash offer, according to Teamtalk.
The 26-year-old England international has attracted significant interest following a stellar season, prompting Spurs to consider activating his £68 million release clause or negotiating a deal involving both cash and a player exchange.

Palace are keen to retain their star midfielder and have initiated talks to extend his contract, aiming to fend off interest from Tottenham and other Premier League clubs.
The midfielder’s impressive performance in the 2024–25 season, in which he scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists across all competitions, has made him a hot commodity in the transfer market.
His versatility and playmaking abilities have not only been pivotal for Palace but have also caught the attention of top clubs looking to strengthen their creative options.
Tottenham, after winning the Europa League, are ready to strengthen their squad for next season as they prepare for the Champions League.

Tottenham are ready to spend big this summer

Despite finishing 17th in the Premier League, Spurs secured a Europa League title, ensuring Champions League qualification for the upcoming season.
The signing of a dynamic midfielder like Eze could be instrumental in enhancing their competitiveness on both domestic and European fronts.
