TKO planning mega event featuring UFC, WWE, and boxing all on one card

Since acquiring the UFC, fans have only had a small taste of what’s possible under the TKO banner, but that could all be about to change.

TKO Group Holdings managed to merge the sport’s entertainment and combat sports after their purchase of Zuffa—the UFC’s parent company—in 2023. We’ve been treated to several crossovers between the two worlds following the purchase, though nothing as big as the rumors in circulation.

According to Billi Bhatti of The Wrestling Informer, TKO is planning a blockbuster event featuring the UFC, WWE, and boxing.

Hoping to finally showcase what they’re capable of with their sporting portfolio, an event like no other could be on the way.

As stated by Bhatti, the likely destination for the one-of-a-kind show will be Saudi Arabia—who have shown strong interest in all three of the major combat sport industries.

“At some point this year or next, a mega card is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia,” Bhatti said during an episode of The Wrestling Informer podcast. “Featuring boxing, UFC or MMA, and WWE all on the same event.”

“This will serve as the ultimate showcase of everything under the TKO banner.”

If the past is any indicator, Dana White will pull out all the stops to steal the spotlight from his competitors.

Though nothing has been confirmed, the UFC have various big name fighters on their roster that could feature if the TKO event comes to fruition.

News of the unique event comes on the back of the founding of TKO Boxing.

The new promotion is hoping to build from the ground up and see the crossover show as a great chance display their talent.

Dana White and Turki Alalshikh are determined to take over the sport of boxing and believe their one-title per weight class system is the future.
