Several teams in the back end of the lottery are preparing for the Oklahoma City Thunder to potentially package their two first-round picks in the upcoming draft to move into the top 14, according to Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
The Thunder have the 15th and 24th pick in this year’s draft. They also have the 44th pick in the second round.
All 15 players on the current roster are under contract for next season.
The Thunder could decline their team option on Ajay Mitchell to create an extra roster spot heading into next year.Â
