Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Strawweight title challenger Amanda Lemos scored a boring unanimous decision win at UFC 313 last night (Sat., March 8, 2025), defeating surging contender Iasmin Lucindo from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Something ultra strange happened at the end of the fight between Lemos vs. Lucindo as the bell rang seven seconds before the end of the third round, which wrapped up the fight.
UFC brodcasters Joe Rogan and Jon Anik caught the mistake live as it happened.
“Wow, that was five seconds too early,” Rogan said.
Anik responded, “Yeah, seems like maybe the commission had seen enough.”
Rogan laughed and said, “C’mon man, Jalin Turner is next with Igancio Bahamondes. Let’s go.”

It was incredibly strange moment that I don’t remember ever happening before inside the Octagon but because the fight was horrible to watch, don’t expect anything to come of it.
Now, if this happened in the co-main between Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev, that would be a completely different story.
Neverthless, Lemos held on to her No. 5 Strawweight ranking while Lucindo had her four-fight win streak snapped.
