Stephen Curry is rehabilitating his hamstring strain and is not expected to potentially play until Game 6. The Golden State Warriors return home to play the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 with the series tied 1-1. In order for Curry to have a chance to play in Game 6, the Warriors will have to win one game fully without him. The Warriors were able to win Game 1 with Curry leaving due to the injury in the first half.
“He will be reevaluated on Wednesday,” said Shams Charania. “My understanding is it will probably not be any point until Game 6 at the earliest.”
Curry has averaged 22.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 35.1 minutes across eight games in the playoffs. The Warriors have struggled to generate effective offense whenever they are without Curry.
