Sam Houston transfer guard Lamar Wilkerson, a top target for Indiana, plans to make four visits once the dead period ends.
According to reports from Joe Tipton and DuShawn London, Wilkerson plans to visit Auburn, Indiana, Kentucky and Ole Miss before making a transfer decision.
A native of Ashdown, Arkansas, the 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard has one season of eligibility remaining.
Wilkerson played three seasons at Sam Houston and began his career at Three Rivers College.
The Conference USA standout played in 32 games last season for the Bearkats – all starts – and averaged 20.5 points, four rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 34.9 minutes per game. He shot 44.5 percent on 3s and made 3.4 3-pointers per game. He also shot 82.2 percent from the free-throw line.
Wilkerson ranked seventh nationally in 3-point field goal percentage and 13th in made 3-point field goals (109). He is a career 40 percent 3-point shooter.
