Schumacher’s telling response amid F1 career uncertainty (Nine)
‘It’s not a Formula 1 car. Le Mans has never been really a dream of mine, in that sense. I never really followed it.’
‘A new chapter awaits’: Toto’s Australian GP Preview (Mercedes)
‘We can be pleased with the work we have done in the off-season, and the test in Bahrain. Both drivers commented favourably on the W16 after the three days, and we seem to have made improvements.’
Australian GP preview (Alpine)
Gasly: ‘Last year, we started the season in a tough place, but the way we turned things around was really impressive. I haven’t seen a transformation like that within a season before. Long term, we’re here to compete at the front. It will take time, but I truly believe we’re heading in the right direction.’
FIA Motorsport Games F4 Esports Winner set to trade virtual driving for real-world Formula 4 test (FIA)
‘The world of sim racing takes a significant step towards reality as Luiz Felipe Tavares, the winner of the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games F4 Esports category, is set to conduct an exclusive Formula 4 test. In March, Tavares will get behind the wheel of a real F4 car at Cremona Circuit in Italy, in a test provided by Maffi Racing.’
‘Very similar’ to ‘so different, you can’t even compare’: F3’s new car lands (Formula Scout)
‘The car’s so different to the old one, you can’t even compare it. Everything you can think of feels different. We were expecting the car to be a bit slower, but in the end, it’s actually faster than the old one, even though it’s heavier, which is a positive thing to see.’
Red Bull Advanced Technologies, which designs parts used by both Red Bull F1 teams, will appoint Jody Egginton as its engineering director next month.
He joins them from Racing Bulls (previously RB/AlphaTauri/Toro Rosso) where he spent 10 years and rose to the position of technical director.
