Richardson Hitchins (20-0, 8 KOs) was nothing but dominant in his technical knockout victory over George Kambosos Jr. (22-3, 10 KOs).
The official time of stoppage was 2:33 of round eight. With the win, Hitchins retains his IBF super lightweight world title. This was his first time defending the belt after he won it in December last year against Liam Paro.
Hitchins was in control from the opening bell, consistently landing the jab and avoiding much of what was coming from his opponent. The jab allowed the reigning champion to set up straights and hooks. For the entirety of the fight Kambosos struggled to land shots on a defensively sound Hitchins.
In round five with roughly a minute to go, Kambosos was hit with a left to the body that had him on the retreat. He remained standing in spite of the onslaught that followed, however, and carried on fighting. Despite that, it was clear that this world title contest was about to end soon.

Hitchins continued to break down his opponent as the fight progressed. In the eighth, a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body sent Kambosos to the canvas. After he struggled to get to his feet, referee Michael Griffin waved off the bout, giving Hitchins the win via technical knockout.

Undercard on DAZN
Andy Cruz (6-0, 3 KOs) won via fifth round technical knockout against Hironori Mishiro (17-2-1, 6 KOs). The official time of stoppage for their 12-round lightweight bout was 1:13. In the third, Mishiro was dropped by two straight right hands to the head. Though he got up, the Japanese fighter was knocked down for a second time towards the end of the round by repeated chopping right hands to the side of the head. Following a barrage from Cruz in the fifth, referee Eric Dali stepped in to end the fight.

Teremoana Teremoana (8-0, 8 KOs) won via first round technical knockout against Aleem Whitfield (9-1, 6 KOs). The official time of stoppage for this six-round heavyweight fight was 2:28. Whitfield was knocked out by a left hook followed by a left uppercut and right hook. Referee David Fields immediately waved off proceedings.

Opening the DAZN broadcast, Zaquin Moses (4-0, 3 KOs) won via fourth round technical knockout against Carl Rogers (3-3, 0 KOs). The official time of stoppage for this six-round super featherweight clash was 1:51. Rogers was knocked down in the fourth from three right hooks to the head. Though he got up, a barrage of punches from Moses caused referee Dali to end proceedings not long after.
Undercard on YouTube
On a portion of the undercard that was broadcast on YouTube, Nishant Dev (2-0, 1 KO) won a unanimous decision against Josue Silva (3-3, 1 KO). Scores for their six-round super welterweight contest were 60-54 across the board.
Opening the broadcast, Adam Maca (1-0, 1 KO) won via second round technical knockout against Rafael Castillo (2-7, 1 KO). The official time of stoppage for this four-round bantamweight fight was 1:29. This bout came to an end after Castillo was unable to defend himself after being hit with a barrage of punches.
