A title procession that has seemed inevitable for months will end in glory with six games to spare on Saturday if Paris Saint-Germain avoid defeat at home to relegation-threatened Angers in Ligue 1.
With 22 wins and five draws in their league campaign, PSG are 21 points above second-placed Monaco and on the brink of becoming French champions for the 13th time and the fourth in a row.

“We are hugely motivated to win the league at home, in front of our own supporters,” manager Luis Enrique told PSG’s official website.
“It will be a special moment and we want to be ready. There are records that we can break and that will help us prepare even better for the Coupe de France final [against Reims on May 24] and the Champions League.”

Angers started the year with four consecutive wins but have been on a poor run since then and have struggled for goals, with only bottom side Montpellier scoring fewer.
Two goals each for Lee Kang-in and Bradley Barcola put PSG 4-0 ahead at half-time when they visited Angers on November 9, although Esteban Lepaul and Emmanuel Biumla made the final score 4-2 with goals during second-half added time.
“It is a challenge for them to end this season unbeaten,” Angers right-back Carlens Arcus said of PSG. “It’s a challenge for us, too, to become the first [league] team to beat them.
“We go there with this hope and mentality. We know that if they win or even draw it will be a party for them, but we only focus on ourselves.”

Lee failed to feature in a PSG league game for the first time this season in their 6-1 win at St-Etienne last Saturday, but the winger has returned to training following a sprained ankle that kept him out for two matches.
Wideman Achraf Hakimi was rested for that game, while third-choice goalkeeper Arnau Tenas is out and Luis Enrique could rotate his side with the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at home to Aston Villa on Wednesday (20:00) looming.

Forward Sidiki Cherif started Angers’ first three games of the season but the 18-year-old has barely featured since because of injuries and is now out with a thigh issue.
Benin centre-back Cedric Hountondji has also been out since starting those first three matches and is currently sidelined by an Achilles problem.
