Heavyweight Title Showdown: Dibbell vs. Mena
The main event will feature a blockbuster heavyweight title fight as undefeated Power Slap Heavyweight Champion Damien “The Bell” Dibbell (5-0, 3 KOs) defends his crown against rising contender Wes “The Boom” Mena (4-0, 2 KOs), ranked No. 3 in the division.
“The Bell” has quickly become one of Power Slap’s most dominant forces. At just 23 years old, Dibbell holds wins over some of the organization’s toughest competitors, including former Light Heavyweight Champion Wolverine, Nate Burnard, and Ryan Phillips. Known for his devastating knockout power and iron chin, he returns to the cage aiming to continue his reign of destruction.
Mena, a standout from Season 3 of Power Slap: Road to the Title, brings his own undefeated record and explosive striking into the cage. With recent wins over Aaron Turner, Devin Jenkins, and Jashell Ticha Awa, Mena has built major momentum heading into the biggest fight of his career.
“The Bell now aims to defend his title once again in dominant fashion by halting the momentum of Mena, while ‘The Boom’ intends to shock the world with another impressive KO to capture the title.”
Middleweight Title Trilogy: Bordeaux vs. Quinones
In the co-main event, the Power Slap Middleweight Title will be on the line as reigning champion Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux (4-1, 1 KO) takes on No. 1 ranked contender Isaih “The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy” Quinones (4-3, 4 KOs) in a trilogy showdown.
Bordeaux seeks to close the chapter with a definitive finish, aiming to prove once and for all that he’s the top middleweight in the game.
“The Butcher aims to secure another highlight-reel finish to prove once and for all that he is the best middleweight in the world.”
But Quinones, with four knockouts to his name, is hungry for redemption and plans to reclaim the belt that once belonged to him.
“The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy plans to make the most of his second opportunity at the belt and begin his reign again as the new world champion.”
Lightweight Gold Up for Grabs: Trujillo vs. McGregor
Another high-stakes title rematch rounds out the marquee matchups. Undefeated lightweight champion Robert “The Real Deal” Trujillo (5-0, 4 KOs) will look to keep his perfect record intact as he battles No. 1 contender Dakota “The Maritime Menace” McGregor (2-1, 2 KOs).
Trujillo has been electric throughout his Power Slap career, delivering knockout performances against Dallas Marron and Jewel Scott. Meanwhile, McGregor is determined to bounce back with a vengeance and seize the title in emphatic fashion.
“McGregor has his sights set on bouncing back with a statement performance and claiming the title for his own.”
The full Power Slap 14 fight card will be revealed in the coming weeks. The commentary team will feature Dan Hellie and former UFC fighter Alan Jouban, with Charly Arnolt on reporting duties and Justin Bernard serving as ring announcer.
This landmark event marks a major milestone for Power Slap as it expands its footprint and brings the action to fight fans in a brand-new live setting.
