“War Horse” just scored some cool custom shorts.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight title challenger Khalil Rountree competes against No. 4-ranked Jamahal Hill in his first Fight Night main event at UFC Baku this weekend (Sat., June 21, 2025) inside Baku Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Just four days before the anticipated 205 lb showdown, Rountree had his UFC Baku custom shorts revealed … and they came out looking pretty damn cool.
Check them out below:
Rountree’s shorts represent his time in Thailand and his hometown of Las Vegas. The top of the shorts has Thai script and Sak Yant-style tattoo patterns, while the bottom of his shorts symbolizes the mountains surrounding Las Vegas with dark lines.
The colors that he chose, white and gray, were inspired by yin and yang and reflect balance in life, symbolizing the duality of his personality: aggressive in the cage and kind outside of it.
Dedicated fans can purchase the shorts for $129.99.
Rountree joins an elite group of fighters with custom fight shorts, including Jon Jones, Ilia Topuria, Max Holloway, Merab Dvalishvili, Alexander Volkanovski, Alex Pereira, Paddy Pimblett, and Valentina Shevchenko, among a few special others.
