On February 18, in celebration of Enzo Ferrari’s birthday, the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena will unveil a groundbreaking new Supercars exhibition. This visually stunning showcase promises to redefine the museum experience, offering an immersive journey into the evolution of Ferrari’s most extraordinary road cars.

Once again, the Enzo Ferrari Museum grants fans and enthusiasts of the Prancing Horse exclusive access to an area typically off-limits: the Ferrari Archive. This invaluable repository has been meticulously curated since the company’s founding in 1947, preserving a legacy of automotive excellence through an extensive collection of historical artefacts. A silent guardian of Ferrari’s past, the Archive reveals the intricate creative processes behind some of the most celebrated supercars in history.

For the first time, this hidden treasure is partially unveiled through a state-of-the-art digitalization project, adding an interactive dimension to the exhibition. Visitors will enjoy unprecedented access to Ferrari’s evolution, tracing the company’s milestones through rare photographs, videos, technical drawings, documents, and publications. The exhibition’s primary focus is Ferrari’s supercars—vehicles that have redefined performance, technological innovation, and design excellence.

At the heart of the exhibition are five interactive, multifunctional digital stations, each dedicated to a landmark Ferrari supercar. These stations offer an in-depth exploration of the development and engineering behind these legendary models, providing a comprehensive narrative through approximately 2,000 archival items, now digitally accessible for the first time.

Beyond the digitized archive, the exhibition engages visitors with thematic and interactive experiences, marking a first for Ferrari Museums. The display incorporates dynamic and playful elements, creating a journey through time from the 1980s to the present day. The goal is to make the experience increasingly immersive, ensuring that every visitor—whether a devoted Ferrari enthusiast or a casual admirer—can connect with the brand’s unparalleled history.

The Supercars exhibition highlights an extraordinary lineup of Ferrari supercars, each accompanied by preparatory models and evolutionary (EVO) versions:

Ferrari GTO (1984): The first limited-series road car born from FeFerrari’sacing expertise.
Ferrari F40 (1987): An automotive legend, this Pininfarina-designed Berlinetta is infused with racing DNA and built with extensive composite materials.
Ferrari F50 (1995): The pinnacle of fusion between single-seater technology and road performance, where aerodynamics serve aesthetics.
Ferrari Enzo (2002): A radical technological masterpiece, paying homage to Enzo Ferrari himself in the year of Scuderia FeFerrari’sormula 1 dominance.
LaFerrari (2013): The closest a road car has come to pure racing technology, featuring the revolutionary hybrid Hy-KERS powertrain designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre.

The crowning jewel of the exhibition is the F80, Ferrari’s latest supercar, launched in October 2024. Presented with an unprecedented dynamic narrative, the F80’s journey from concept to reality is brought to life through a progressive display. For the first time in Ferrari Museum history, the exhibition will showcase key components from the supercar’s development process—ranging from the early development mule to the pre-series prototype and final styling model. This evolving display forms the “archive of tomorrow,” reinforcing Ferrari’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.

The Ferrari Museums continue to captivate an ever-growing audience, and 2024 saw a record-breaking 850,000 visitors across the Modena and Maranello locations. The Supercars exhibition is set to be a major highlight, further solidifying FeFerrari’segacy as a leader in both performance and heritage preservation.

The Supercars exhibition will be open to visitors at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena until February 16, 2026, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the ultimate in automotive artistry and innovation.
