Midnight Mania: UFC Vegas 104 Bout Canceled Due To Injury

UFC Vegas 104 just lost a fight two days before air time, cutting the card down to 13 bouts in total. A report from UFC.com didn’t offer much in the way of detail, only confirming that Lightweight prospect MarQuel Mederos (9-1) was forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Evan Elder (9-2) due to an undisclosed injury.

Elder has already been rebooked and will square off versus Ahmad Hassanzada on April 26 at UFC Kansas City.

The promotion’s latest return to the UFC Apex is scheduled for this Saturday evening (March 15, 2025). In the main event, Marvin Vettori makes his return from injury and layoff to rematch Roman Dolidze, who has won two in a row over quality competition. In addition, the co-main event promises an 170-pound war between veteran sluggers Chidi Njokuani and Elizeu Zaleski.

Armen Petrosyan would appear to be off the UFC roster after losing three straight via finish.

Armen Petrosyan has been removed from the UFC roster, per UFC officials. His most recent fight was the final on his contract.

He dropped his past 3 straight fights.

I have to promote a buddy: ex-UFC fighter Joseph Morales is finally back on the big stage via TUF after several years dealing with injury and struggling to find opponents. He is also a definite a-hole (in the best possible way).
