The Miccosukee Indian Gaming Resort in Miami will be the epicenter of WBA action on April 26, when two regional titles—WBA Fedecentro Super Lightweight and WBA Fedecaribe Super Bantamweight—are up for grabs in a night packed with rising talent and knockout power.
Headlining the card is undefeated American prospect Joshua Amill (5-0), who puts his perfect record on the line against fellow Floridian Tristan Gallichan (5-3-2, 3 KOs) in a showdown for the WBA Fedecentro Super Lightweight title. Amill, with four of his five wins coming inside the distance, enters the bout as the heavy favorite.
The co-main event promises fireworks as Alex Vallecillo takes on Lázaro Maldonado for the WBA Fedecaribe Super Bantamweight belt. Vallecillo, a hard-hitting Nicaraguan, boasts a 9-1 record with all of his victories coming by way of knockout. His lone defeat came via split decision against Juan Mendoza a year ago, and he’s currently riding a two-fight knockout streak.
Facing him will be Puerto Rico’s Lázaro Maldonado (8-1), who has rattled off seven straight wins—five by knockout—since suffering his only career loss in just his second pro fight back in 2021.
With regional pride and WBA gold on the line, Miami is set for a night of high-stakes action that promises to deliver drama, intensity, and maybe a glimpse at boxing’s future stars.
