Kagiso Rabada has returned to South Africa to deal with an important personal matter – Gujarat Titans
The statement from the franchise read: “Kagiso Rabada has returned to South Africa to deal with an important personal matter,”
Kagiso Rabada didn’t feature in the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday (2nd March). At the toss, Shubman Gill revealed he would be missing the game due to personal reasons.
Meanwhile, the franchise didn’t make a confirmation about when the pacer will return, but it is almost certain that he will miss the next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Kagiso Rabada not being in the playing XI for Gujarat Titans leaves a massive void for the team. In his absence, the Shubman Gill-led side brought Arshad Khan into the team, and if he doesn’t return after the next few games, it might cost the 2022 IPL winners.

In the game against Punjab Kings, Kagiso Rabada gave away 41 runs for a wicket. And then against Mumbai Indians, he returned figures of 1/42. The South Africa National Cricket Team pacer was notably acquired by the franchise for INR 10.75 crore in the auction.
