Jimmy Butler spoke candidly about his transition to the Golden State Warriors during a recent end-of-season press conference. When asked about adjusting from being the primary star in Miami to a different role in Golden State, Butler said, “I’m completely content with who I am as a basketball player, the way that I play the game, and to come here and know that I’m second to Steph—that’s, I think, a really good thing.”
Butler praised the team’s culture, emphasizing the unselfishness that allows “anybody to be playing any role on any given night.” He highlighted the young talent on the roster and the energized atmosphere, calling it “refreshing” to be part of such a group.
