Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown has been open that he’s playing through a right knee injury over the last month or so. The team has listed Brown on the injury report several times over the last month with a right knee impingement. The injury has also been called a bone bruise by those close to the situation.
This week, Brown received a painkilling injection in the knee. The idea was to promote healing before the Celtics start their playoff run next weekend.
Brown is expected to be ready to play when Boston starts their title defense next Saturday or Sunday. The Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference, and will play the winner of the 7-8 Play-In Tournament game between the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks.
