Jaron Ennis vs Romain Villa
On July 8, 2023, Ennis made the first defence of his IBF welterweight interim title against the dangerous Colombian fighter Roiman Villa. “Boots” was imperious from the first bell, showcasing his exceptional hand speed and accuracy. On October 30, 2021, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Jaron Ennis blew away the French-born fighter, Thomas Dulorme. “Boots” landed a right hand early on, knocking his opponent down, with Dulorme fighting to hang on before Ennis landed a vicious left hand, with the 35-year-old unable to beat the count this time. The official stoppage came at 1:49 of the opening round. A brutal performance from “Boots” who got the job done early and impressively.
