The transfer portal for college basketball opened on Monday, March 24 and closes on Tuesday, April 22. There are 11 days left to enter the portal this spring.
Seven scholarship players from Indiana’s 2024-25 roster entered the transfer portal following a coaching change from Mike Woodson to Darian DeVries. Four of those players have already chosen new schools. Bryson Tucker, Kanaan Carlyle and Mackenzie Mgbako remain in the portal.

Here’s a current look at the transfer portal commitments for the Hoosiers and the names that have been publicly linked to IU in no particular order:

Notes: The son of new IU coach Darian DeVries, Tucker has not formally announced his commitment, nor has IU announced his signing. Despite the lack of a public confirmation, DeVries will be a Hoosier next season.

Notes: Wilkerson, a knockdown 3-point shooter, was an All-Conference USA first-team selection last season and is a top portal priority for the IU coaching staff. Wilkerson plans to visit Auburn, Indiana, Kentucky and Ole Miss. Visits are expected to begin shortly after the dead period ends on Friday.
Tayton Conerway, Troy, 6-foot-3, guard

Notes: Jeff Rabjohns of Peegs.com reported late Thursday that Conerway is expected to visit Bloomington this weekend. The Sun Belt Conference player of the year last season, Conerway averaged nearly three steals per game last season and his assist rate ranked 20th nationally (36.8 percent).
