Antonio Brown had a hard time remembering what happened during Friday night’s dangerous brawl at Adin Ross’ boxing event in Miami, Fla., as the former NFL star is claiming his CTE made him black out.
In case you missed it, Brown was involved in a wild melee on Friday night following the Brand Risk 7 boxing event at a warehouse in Miami. According to countless video footage, Brown was jumped outside the event by a few people trying to get a hold of his diamond chain. The legendary NFL wide receiver tried to fight off various people as security rushed in and broke it up. Brown even hit one of his own security guards.
Following the conclusion of the brawl, Brown appeared to grab a hold of a firearm, run after his attackers, and fire off a few shots into the air. No official details have been released at this time to confirm those claims, but Brown was put into handcuffs and ushered out by police. His arrest did not last that long, though.
Later Friday night, Brown was seen back on Ross’ live stream and was asked to recount his side of the brawl. The former NFL standout claimed that he blacked out during the incident as a result of his CTE and was unable to give specific details about Friday’s melee. Brown has long been linked to CTE after taking multiple shots to the head during his NFL career, but we’re not 100% certain that played a role in this situation.

“I got CTE, I blacked out. I blacked out, Adin. I don’t know what happened.”
On Saturday morning, Brown took to social media to release an official statement and shed some light on the entire incident. Check it out below:

“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.
I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.
I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process.
Thank you for the support and love”
