Rotterdam, Netherlands (June 14, 2025) — GLORY 100, the largest event in kickboxing history, lit up the sold-out Rotterdam Ahoy Arena with more than 12,000 fans in attendance for a night packed with world-class action, historic title defenses, and unforgettable tournament chaos.
Rico Verhoeven Extends Reign as the ‘King of Kickboxing’
In the main event, GLORY Heavyweight World Champion Rico Verhoeven (66-10, 21 KO) delivered another signature performance, dominating former two-time light heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov (22-7, 8 KO) across five one-sided rounds.
“I’m still the king. This is what greatness looks like,” Verhoeven declared after extending his GLORY winning streak to 27 and notching his 13th successful title defense.
Maslobojev Reclaims Light Heavyweight Gold
Sergej Maslobojev (42-7, 26 KO) reclaimed the GLORY Light Heavyweight Championship, scoring a decisive TKO in Round 4 against Tarik Khbabez (52-12-1, 28 KO), two years after controversially losing the same title.
“This was justice. I never stopped believing, and now the belt is back where it belongs,” Maslobojev said post-fight.
Wisse Sets Record, Petch and Kromah Deliver Fireworks
Donovan Wisse (23-1, 10 KO) successfully defended his middleweight crown against rival Michael Boapeah (21-5-1, 9 KO) via split decision, breaking Alex Pereira’s record for most title defenses in the division.
“History made. I respect Michael, but tonight was mine,” said the Surinamese champion.
Petch (174-40-3, 27 KO) retained his featherweight title with a dominant decision over Miguel Trindade (62-8, 27 KO), fueled by two early knockdowns that cemented his control.
Meanwhile, Mory Kromah (34-3-1, 20 KO) stunned the world by knocking out fan favorite Bahram Rajabzadeh (72-5, 64 KO) with a flying knee in the Last Heavyweight Standing Tournament — one of many electrifying moments from the Grand Prix qualifiers.
