Gedeon Promotions continues its steady flow of boxing this Saturday night at the popular venue along the Lake Erie shore, the LaSalle Theater.
This card features 7 fighters from the city of Cleveland. Female professional Crashonna Wynn looks to improve to 2-1 after her impressive TKO victory on War on the Shore XVIII in January.
Former amateur national champ, Khalil Osaze, makes his professional debut in his hometown. He plans to put on a show for the crowd, undoubtedly.
Devin Young (1-0) looks to build off of his second round knockout in his professional debut in last year.
The Main Event is going to be a must-see! Somebody’s 0 will go as two undefeated fighters face off.
Cleveland’s Jordan Gruszewski (4-0, 3 KO) meets Joel Mutombo (8-0, 6ko) of Indiana in the Cruiserweight division.
Mutombo is coming off of 3 knockouts in a row, while Gruszewski is coming off his most dominant victory against his toughest opponent.
“Gruszewski is another fan favorite, and never disappoints with his combos, angles, and brawling mixed with boxing style,” said trainer Bryan Gedeon.
The Co- Main Event is a 10 round bout featuring fan favorite, Nick “Razor” Rezek (4-1, 2 KO) vs “Mighty” Joe Thompson (5-7, 3ko).
Rezek is looking to make a statement in this fight after suffering his first loss in January to an undefeated fighter.
“Rezek is known for his endurance, high volume punching style, and always is a crowd pleaser,” said Gedeon.
Notable amateurs on the card are 132lb open division fighter Brady Stone, 16 year old debut fighter Julian Dolin, Masters division fighters Mike Pinto and Andrew Wirth, heavyweight Luis Dominguez , and 2x National Champion, Charlie Pugh.
Promoter, Allegra Gedeon, is excited for this card.
“ We have some great talent on this card, including our biggest main event yet in Gruszewski vs Mutombo.”
“Jordan, Hamza , and Nick are really exciting to watch and we have two new fighters on the card in Khalil and Devin. They both have great amateur backgrounds and are coached by the legendary, Coach Safo.”
“This is our 19th show and our 19th sell out. The support we receive from the city is truly incredible! The support from the community allows us to have these amazing shows to showcase the amateurs talent , and hopefully watch them grow into pros one day!”
Stay tuned for another action-packed evening of Pro-Am boxing by the Gedeon family.
