It would be “foolish” to count out of the New York Knicks in any potential trade discussions involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to Ian Begley of SNY.
Begley adds that had the Knicks season gone poorly, they would have made a strong push to trade for Antetokounmpo over the summer.
Antetokounmpo is reportedly open-minded about leaving the Bucks for the first time, though the team remains hopeful that he won’t request a trade.
The Rockets have also registered interest in Antetokounmpo.Â
