Ferrari Driver Academy member Maya Weug was the fastest on the final day of in-season testing in Jeddah. Maya Weug set the fastest time in the final moments of the session, ahead of Chloe Chambers with a time of 2:05.405.
F1 Academy – morning session resultsThe morning session started with the track still wet from the previous night’s rain. The first driver out was Nicole Havrda, followed by Ella Lloyd and Lia Block, who took turns at the top until Block set the fastest lap of the session. There were several changes at the top, with Doriane Pin and Chambers being key contenders, but neither managed to surpass Lia Block.
A long portion of the morning session was dedicated to race simulations, while the final stages focused on improving lap times, although no changes were made to the standings.
At the end of the session, Block finished ahead of Chambers and Lloyd, while Pin and Palmowski completed the top 5. Weug, Larsen, Hausmann, Ciconte, and Felbermayr rounded out the top 10.
Afternoon session resultsThe afternoon session was kicked off by Aiva Anagnostiadis with the Hitech TGR team. The leaderboard continued to shift, with minimal gaps between the top positions. At the end of the session, Maya Weug again posted the fastest time, followed by Chambers and then Lloyd.
Nina Gademan was absent on this final day. The Dutch driver, following a serious incident on the second day of testing, was taken to the hospital for further checks. The team confirmed that Nina is fine, but she did not participate in the final day of testing due to the significant damage to her car.
The next F1 Academy event will be in Jeddah from April 18 to 20.
