In the 2025 WNBA GM Survey, Caitlin Clark received the most votes as the player they would select to build a franchise around. Clark received 50 percent of the votes ahead of A’ja Wilson with 33 percent. Napheesa Collier and Dominique Malonga also received votes.
Collier was the top choice to win WNBA MVP with 67 percent of the votes ahead of Wilson with 25 percent and Clark with eight percent. Collier’s Minnesota Lynx was also a popular pick to win the 2025 WNBA Finals with 60 percent of the votes. The New York Liberty received 20 percent, while both the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces received 10 percent. The Fever also received 75 percent of the vote as the team that will be the most fun to watch and 50 percent said they have the most promising young core.
Paige Bueckers received 73 percent of the vote as the expected Rookie of the Year, while Malonga outpaced Bueckers by a 60-40 margin as the best player from the rookie class in five years.
