The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine is wrapping up and the Bucs are busy meeting with draft prospects in Indianapolis this week. Each NFL team is allowed to conduct 45 formal interviews, where they can meet with prospects for 18 minutes. That’s a recent change, as four years ago, NFL teams were allowed 60 15-minute formal interviews.

Tampa Bay’s area scouts and position coaches can conduct informal interviews with more than 45 players, but the 45 formal interviews are in front of the Bucs coordinators, in addition to head coach Todd Bowles and general manager Jason Licht.

Pewter Report is compiling a list of draft prospects we can confirm have met with the Bucs in Indianapolis – either formally or informally. Keep in mind that the Bucs did not meet with former first-round pick Calijah Kancey the NFL Scouting Combine in 2023, nor did the team have Kancey in for a Top 30 visit. Tampa Bay completely disguised their interest in Kancey before selecting him.

This Bucs Combine Interview Tracker will be updated daily during the week in Indy, so check back often. Prospects who have been formally interviewed appear in bold text. Updates will be noted with two asterisks (**) and italicization.

Pittsburgh G Branson Taylor said he might have met with the Bucs informally, but he can’t remember for sure. The Bucs could use more offensive line depth and interviewed nearly a dozen linemen, including three formal interviews. Tampa Bay could use another starting guard in case Ben Bredeson isn’t re-signed in free agency, and North Dakota State’s Gray Zabel is considered a first-round prospect.

WIDE RECEIVERS – Friday

As expected, the Bucs interviewed plenty of wide receivers at the NFL Scouting Combine. The team is looking to bolster its depth at the position behind Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, who is expected to be re-signed, and Jalen McMillan, who was last year’s third-round pick. Tampa Bay had five formal interviews with players ranging from first-round options to late Day 3 guys.

RUNNING BACKS – Friday

Arizona State Rb Cam Skattebo

Ohio State RB TreVeyon HendersonArizona State RB Cam SkatteboNorth Carolina RB Omarion HamptonVirginia Tech RB Bhayshul TutenUSC RB Woody MarksOle Miss RB Ulysses Bentley

Tampa Bay did not have any formal interviews with any running backs in Indianapolis, which is not a surprise given the fact that Bucky Irving, Rachaad White and Sean Tucker are under contract this year. It doesn’t mean that the Bucs won’t draft a running back in 2025, but if they do it will likely be in the late rounds on Day 3. White is entering a contract year.

QUARTERBACKS – Friday

Oregon QB Dillon GabrielMissouri QB Brady Cook

The Bucs only interviewed two quarterbacks at the NFL Scouting Combine that we know of, and likely won’t draft one with the addition of Michael Pratt last year prior to the start of the regular season. Tampa Bay also hopes to re-sign veteran Kyle Trask.

CORNERBACKS – Thursday

Kansas Cbs Mello Dotson And Cobee Bryant

Tampa Bay interviewed a ton of cornerbacks at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine, including six formally. East Carolina’s Shavon Revel and Notre Dame’s Benjamin Morrison have the chance to be first-round picks, while Kentucky’s Maxwell Hairston and Kansas’ Cobee Bryant are viewed as Day 2 cornerbacks. Nebraska’s Tommi Hill and USC’s Jaylin Smith are Day 3 prospects who have a ton versatility to their games.

SAFETIES – Thursday

Georgia S Malaki Starks Bucs

The Bucs could use another safety with the departure of starter Jordan Whitehead, but plan to move Tykee Smith from nickelback to strong safety as his replacement to get him on the field for 100% of the snaps. Tampa Bay had four formal interviews with safeties in Indianapolis, including Georgia’s Malaki Starks, who played with Smith at Georgia. Starks is viewed as a first-round pick, while Notre Dame’s Xavier Watts, Virginia’s Jonas Sanker and Penn State’s Jaylen Reed

**TIGHT ENDS – Thursday

Penn State Te Tyler Warren Bucs

LSU tight end Mason Taylor said he has not met with the Bucs yet, but is scheduled to do so later this week. He is unsure if the interview is formal or informal.

The Bucs had two formal meetings with tight ends – Penn State’s Tyler Warren, who could be an option in the first round, in addition to Bowling Green’s Harold Fannin Jr., who is likely a Day 2 pick. Tampa Bay could use an upgrade in talent at the tight end position as all four tight ends currently on the roster – Cade Otton, Payne Durham, Devin Culp and Ko Kieft – are all former Day 3 selections.

DEFENSIVE LINE – Wednesday

Ndsu G Grey Zabel And Toledo Dt Darius Alexander Bucs

The Bucs have met with at least four defensive tackles in formal interviews. Toledo’s Darius Alexander is the lone defensive tackle with a first-round grade. Tampa Bay could use more talent and depth along the interior of the defensive line, and it should be noted that Pro Bowler Vita Vea turned 30 this offseason and top reserve Logan Hall is entering a contract year.

EDGE RUSHERS – Wednesday

Marshall Olb Mike Green

Georgia edge rusher Jalon Walker was asked if he had interviewed with the Bucs but refused to say.

Tampa Bay is clearly focusing on drafting an edge rusher this year, and that’s no secret, as both head coach Todd Bowles and general manager Jason Licht have both mentioned the position as a team need. The Bucs have interviewed at least seven edge rushers at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, including three potential first-round picks in Marshall’s Mike Green, Boston College’s Donovan Ezeiruaku and Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart.

LINEBACKERS – Wednesday

UCLA ILB Carson Schwesinger  said he “met with a lot of teams.”

Tampa Bay interviewed at least six inside linebackers at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Bucs could have to fill both starting inside linebacker spots if 35-year-old Lavonte David decides to retire this offseason. Alabama’s Jihaad Campbell is considered a potential first-round pick.
