ROSSBURG, Ohio — Round five of Ohio Sprint Speedweek took the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars to the legendary Eldora Speedway for the Jack Hewitt Challenge.
Emerson Axsom started the No. 27 winged sprint car from the pole and claimed the $7,500 victory ahead of Pennsylvania veteran Brock Zearfoss, who raced from fifth to finish second.
Kalib Henry started 12th and came home third.
Cap Henry grabbed the Ohio Speedweek point lead by finishing fourth, which was his third top four finish in three races.
Rookie Steven Snyder Jr. started 10th and came home fifth.
Danny Dietrich raced from 16th to sixth.
Cale Thomas was the fast qualifier with a lap of 13.092 seconds for the 39-car field.
Daison Pursley topped the companion non-winged sprint car main event.
