The next installment of Riyadh Season will continue later this evening (Sat., May 3, 2025) at “Fatal Fury” LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, when Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez meets undefeated Cuban fighter William Scull in a main event super middleweight title fight.
As expected, Canelo is a ridiculous -3000 betting favorite to take care of business this weekend and hand Scull his first career loss. Despite his superior skill and experience, Canelo might still feel a bit of pressure when he steps inside of the ring for his Riyadh debut. That’s because the boxing great will be paid $80 million for his main event clash with Scull as part of his recent four-fight deal with Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh.
One of Canelo’s most recent opponents, former super middleweight title challenger Jaime Munguia, will also be in action as he meets Bruno Sarace in the co-main event. In case you forgot, Sarace pulled off a massive upset knockout win over Munguia late last year. The PPV main card will also feature the professional debut of Mexican youngster Marco Verde, who captured a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Ahead of the DAZN PPV main card that starts at 7 p.m. ET, a “Cinco de Mayo” pre-fight livestream video will begin in the above player starting at 5 p.m. ET. It will feature some last-second insight, main card predictions, and “Prelims” action.
