Welcome to the culmination of the biggest two-day event that professional wrestling puts on every year. That’s right, WrestleMania 41 goes down tonight (Sun., April 20, 2025) live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
WrestleMania 41 start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT (full details here).
The first night saw a bunch of title changes, an amazing live performance from Living Colour (Corey Glover’s voice at age 60 is still perfect), and some patented WWE drama that had fans clutching their heads in bewilderment at the rapidly unfolding stories. Night two is always a challenge to top the beginning, but you know that they’re obviously gonna try.
We’ve got another four title bouts, including the biggest one in the company, the Undisputed WWE Championship Belt as champion Cody Rhodes takes on John Cena, who’s a heel for the first time in his almost 25-year career. There’s a three-way dance for the Women’s strap, a surprise entrant for the Women’s tag team belts and a four-way for the Intercontinental title.

WrestleMania 41 Night 2 LIVE PLAY-BY-PLAY:
WWE Undisputed Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
Again, with the over-the-top entrances for funsies – this time it’s a bunch of dudes on dirt bikes riding back and forth for Rhodes. Slow burn start here. Lots of pauses and restarts and regrouping. Finally, Cena rolls out, Rhodes with a suicide dive on him. Cena with the basics. Punches, boots, clotheslines – all generic, but all have impact.
I think Cena is playing to the memes about how he has a limited wrestling repertoire and he’s just using the bare minimum. There’s a side slam from Cena and a near fall. Second rope double axe-handles. Again. A third time gets him kicked in the chest. Cena eyepoke and some punches lead to another pin attempt.
There’s a bit of spiciness from Cena as he hits a tornado DDT off the second rope. Cena goes for the “You can’t see me” punch, but gets poked in the eye for his troubles. Rhodes with a springboard kick off the ropes, then a cutter off the ropes. 2 count. Cody with the Rhodes punches and he goes for the bionic elbow, but Cena avoids it.
Cena kicks him and gets him up for the Attitude Adjustment driver. He hits the five-knuckle shuffle. Rhodes kicks out. Rhodes gets a punch in, up to the ropes and gets caught. Cena hits an AA off the second rope, 2-count. Cena to the top rope, Rhodes moves back and turns it into a powerslam. 2-count for Rhodes. Top rope cutter from Rhodes, another 2.
Cena reverses, hits another AA and goes for the crossface submission, the STFU. Rhodes kicks Cena off into a ref bump. Rhodes hits his Crossroads finisher and gets the no pin. Cena takes the turnbuckle covers off from one corner and tosses Rhodes into it, then bounces his head into it again. Another AA and another kick out. We’ve got music coming into the arena for some reason and it’s Travis Scott?
Scott and Rhodes did an angle earlier in the year, so we’re back to this. Rhodes hits Crossroads, Scott yanks the ref out. Rhodes tells Scott to punch him in the face, then dodges it and Crossroads him. Cena kicks Rhodes in the nethers, whacks him with the belt and pins him.
FINAL RESULTS: John Cena def. Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria and Bayley a mystery partnerBecky Lynch
Lynch as the mystery tag was possibly the worst kept secret on social media this weekend. Lynch tries for a sleeper hold on Rodriguez. Tags Lyra, who does a rope-assisted arm drag. Dropkick to the outside. Lyra goes up top again, gets pushed off the top turnbuckle into a big boot. The women in red isolate Lyra getting the double team offense. Couple pinfall attempts by both women.
They work the hot tag for a minute, can’t get it. Big side slam by Rodriguez on Lyra. Finally the hot tag happens and it’s Lynch doing the big offense time. Roll through off the top rope on Rodriguez, Samoan drop on Morgan. Lynch with an armbar on Morgan, Rodriguez breaks it up.
Morgan goes for and gets her finisher on Lynch. It gets broken up by Lyra. She dives outside and tornado DDT’s Rodriguez. Morgan stumbles to her feet and gets Rock Bottom’d and pinned.
FINAL RESULTS: Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch def. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship
AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
Slow burning start to the match. First big thing of the match is Styles catching Paul jumping over the rope by pulling the ring apron away from the ring and tangling him up in the fabric while striking him. Styles gets speared, but gets up and throws Paul into the guardrail. AJ slammed into a ringpost and then the next one, too.
Paul crossbody over the top rope. Paul gets revenge for the apron trick by doing it to Styles. Big splash off the top rope and a 2 count. Paul with a reverse powerbomb the announcers call an overbomb (new to me if that’s the term or just his move). Boot, a split leg drop and a pin attempt gets a 1 count. Paul moonsault.
Styles gets his offense rolling and comes back with a neckbreaker and two flying clotheslines. Brainbuster and a 2 count. Paul gets out of a powerbomb. Styles goes for a top rope clothesline, gets caught by Paul into a senton bomb. Lionsault by Paul, another near pin.
Paul with a slingshot lariat, 2-count. Styles with a tilt-a-whirl slam, he gets a 2 count. Styles goes up to slingshot moonsault and eats knees. They each do Styles Clashes for a big pop. Paul about to get outside interference via brass knuckles, but that gets broken up. Styles gets the knucks, tosses them aside, goes for his finisher but gets countered with a big punch and a splash DDT for the pin.
FINAL RESULTS: Logan Paul def. AJ Styles
Randy Orton vs. Joe Hendry
Hendry is the TNA world champion, on loan tonight for the big event. Hendry with a rollup for a 1-count. Hendry gets a neckbreaker. Orton no sells a Hendry chokeslam attempt and gives him a three stooges poke in the eye. Hanging DDT by Orton, goes for the RKO, gets a fallaway slam for his troubles.
RKO out of nowhere and the pin.
FINAL RESULTS: Randy Orton def. Joe Hendry
Orton plays nice for a moment after the match with Hendry before RKO’ing him again.
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta vs. Finn Balor
Balor and Mysterio are in the same Judgement Day faction and they team up on Breakker. Penta kicks them both outside and then flies outside on top of them. Breakker jumps over both of those men into Penta.
He’s powering through both Falor and Mysterio. Balor counters with a cross body. Penta and Balor get double German suplexed. Big happenings everywhere. Breakker misses a spear into the ringside post. Penta with a big kick. Mysterio puts the boots to Breakker.
Frankensteiner! Mysterio tries to 619 his own teammate, gets caught, and hits a powerbomb. Carlito comes down to assist his Judgement Day teammates breaks up a pair of pin attempts by Penta and Breakker. Breakker spears Carlito through an announce table. Then spears Penta. Mysterio 619’s Breakker, goes up top, but gets pushed off by Balor. Balor goes on the offense on Breakker, hits a big clothesline and a double stomp off the top rope.
He goes for the pin, Mysterio with the frog splash on top of both of them and he pins Balor for the belt.
FINAL RESULTS: Dominik Mysterio def. Finn Balor, Penta and Bron Breakker to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre
It’s cool that some of the entrances get to be over the top. Last night had Living Colour do Punk’s entrance. Now we’ve got the guitarist for Slayer doing Priest’s walk out. They start out fast and Priest sends McIntyre over the top rope with a clothesline. This is a no DQ match, so they just brawl on the outside.
Priest superkicks McIntyre. McIntyre gets in offense with a suplex onto the ramp. McIntyre goes to set up the ring steps in the ring, gets bonked by the other half of the steps while doing so. Priest gets out a table and puts it into the ring, McIntyre punches Priest and bonks him with the steps four times.
McIntyre grabs a phone from a fan, takes a selfie of himself next to a downed Priest. Kicks him in the head, chairs him on the side of the dome and sets up a pair of tables on the outside. McIntyre eats a couple punches, clotheslines Priest outside of the ring and hits a plancha. Priest throws a chair at McIntyre who deflects it off his shoulder and kicks Priest in the mug.
Priest counters a running move with a chokeslam. Now he whacks the spine of McIntyre with the chair thrice. Priest sets up the chair between the ring ropes in the corner. McIntyre with a spinebuster. McIntyre sets Priest up on the top rope. Priest ducks out, Razor’s edge McIntyre through the table. Priest goes for a chokeslam on the steps, McIntyre gouges the eyes and DDT’s him onto them instead.
Priest goes to walk the ring ropes, and McIntyre shoves him off into those tables set up earlier. McIntyre sets up Priest against that chair in the corner and flying kicks him. He gets the pin.
FINAL RESULTS: Drew McIntyre def. Damian Priest
WWE Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair
Sky with a hurricanrana on Ripley. The next big move is a double blockbuster by Sky on both of her opponents. Ripley with a suicide dive on Belair outside, Sky with the nice tope on Ripley, then a double stomp.
Belair with a trio of suplex’s in a row. Sky tries a high-flying move, gets caught by Belair and swung into the ringside apron. Ripley grabs the other limbs of Sky and they both swing her into the apron. Ripley grabs Sky back in the ring and then Razor’s edge her into Belair.
Ripley with a submission attempt, gets slammed by Belair for her trouble. Top rope spot of all the women getting dumped back into the ring. Sky with a fun missile dropkick, kips up and then front flips for good measure. Belair uses the time to spear Sky and then runs a 450 off the top rope. Ripley with her Riptide finisher on Belair, but can’t get the pinfall.
Sky counters another Riptide with a brainbuster. Tries for a moonsault, eats shoe leather instead into a face-first powerslam from Belair. Ripley breaks up the pinfall. They’re standing on the 2nd rope, trying to figure out who gets the upper hand. Ripley headbutts her off. Sky tries for a destroyer, Ripley holds on and swings her back into the ringpost.
Belair comes in and tries her finisher again, gets blocked. She whips Ripley with her braid and hits the finisher. Belair goes for the pin, only to have Sky moonsault onto both of them. Sky pins Belair for the win.
FINAL RESULTS: Iyo Sky def. Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Championship
