Suyash Sharma produced the wickets of Josh Inglis (29 off 17) and Marcus Stoinis (one off two) in his third over during the ongoing clash between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium on Sunday, April 20.Â
Inglis backed away to loft the ball over the off-side, however, the bowler found eough purchase off the deck to beat his outside edge and uproot the off-stump. Just a couple of balls later, Stoinis’ stumps were disturbed as a well-disguised googly breached the gap between his bat and pad.
After sending PBKS in to bat, Krunal Pandya struck twice in consecutive overs to dismiss PBKS’ opening batters earlier in the evening. Although the hosts dominated the powerplay by scoring 62/1, the subsequent overs saw RCB hold the upper hand.Â

Ahead of the current fixture, PBKS and RCB occupied third and fifth position on the points table, respectively. Both sides have played seven games in IPL 2025. However, RCB possess a better net run rate than PBKS (+0.446 vs +0.308). RCB have a solid opportunity of getting to the double-digit mark on the points table, provided they win the current encounter.
