With 170mm travel, refined geometry, powerful motor, and a svelte carbon fiber frame, the new Ari Timp Peak makes the shuttle run half the fun.
This 2nd gen Timp Peak is built around the newest Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 drive system, with a frame that allows you to build it for the trails at hand.
The motor has 85Nm of torque and 600W peak output, and is controlled by Bosch’s wireless mini remote for less bar clutter. It’s powered by either of 800wh or 600wh Bosch PowerTube batteries.
Choose which one you want included at checkout, but add the other (or an extra) at any time – they’re easy to swap without dropping the motor from the frame!
Need more? Add a 250wh range extender (it fits on all frame sizes!) so you’ve got the power you need for big days while saving weight on shorter rips. Skip the external range extender and it’ll fit a minimum 21oz water bottle on all frame sizes, plus mounts for a tool kit under the top tube.
The geometry is also customizable. It starts with a revised version of their Tetralink suspension, with 170mm rear wheel travel and a more consistent and lower overall anti-rise. So, it’s more active during braking, regardless of where it is in the travel.
Then it gives you four-way adjustable flip chips that adjust head angle, chainstay length, and bottom bracket height for fine tuning. One set is at the rear dropout, the other is on the inside face of the upper seatstay pivots.
Key geo and other numbers are:
Headtube: 63.6°- 64.4° (stock setting is 64°)
Chainstay length: 437mm – 443mm.
Seat angle: consistent at 78° (effective)
Stack height: increased by 7-12mm
Tire clearance: 29×2.6″
Claimed weight: 49.8lbs (22.6kg) w/ 600Wh battery, tubeless
Recommended fork travel: 170mm
And if you need more aggressive changes, swap the rear wheel between 29″ and 27.5″ to change its character.
It’s not just the numbers. The suspension layout is different, with a vertical shock placement and kinematics that work with both air and coil shocks.
The design allows for a lower standover height and better motor orientation, which allows longer dropper seatpost insertion for longer travel posts.
