Coles Little Athletics Australia announces nominations are now open for the 2024 Coles Little Athletics Australia Hall of Fame and Official & Centre of the Year Awards to be presented at the annual Hall of Fame Ceremony to be held in Adelaide in April 2025.

Coles Little Athletics Australia Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame recognises former participants who have achieved at the highest level in their chosen sport or profession.
Track and Field – Former Little Athletes who have represented Australia in athletics
Sportsperson – Former Little Athletes who have competed at the highest level in Sport
Achievers – Former Little Athletes who have achieved in a non-sport related discipline
Volunteers – Any person (outside those eligible above) and/or families who have made an outstanding contribution to Little Athletics in Australia. (Excludes Officials)
Nominations May Be Submitted by
MA’s
LAA Board (Where nominated by the LAA Board the Authorised Representative of the MA is required to validate the individual participated in Little Athletics in that State/Territory).
Public – Should a member of the public wish to nominate an individual they must do so via the MA the individual participated in Little Athletics.

Coles Little Athletics Australia Official of the Year Award
The Official of the Year is recognised and awarded at the Coles Little Athletics Australia Hall of Fame Ceremony. To be considered for nomination as the Official of the Year, one must:
Regularly participates at Association/State Competitions in the previous 12 months
Relates well to athletes and fellow Officials
Makes an outstanding contribution throughout the previous season
Contributes positively to the overall moral of the official’s fraternity
Nominations May Be Submitted by
MA’s
LAA Board (Where nominated by the LAA Board the Authorised Representative of the MA is required to validate the individual participated in Little Athletics in that State/Territory).

Coles Little Athletics Australia Centre of the Year Award
The Centre of the Year Award recognises Little Athletics Centres who have been a leader and innovator in delivering upon Little Athletics core values of Family, Fun and Fitness. With a focus on being able to demonstrate excellence in at least three of the following areas of (1) Diversity & Inclusion, (2) Innovation, (3) Community, (4) Governance and (5) National.
Member Associations to nominate one Centre from each of the Categories:
Category One: Major City Little Athletics Centre of the Year
A Little Athletics Centre located in Major Cities of Australia.
Category Two: Inner Regional Little Athletics Centre of the Year
A Little Athletics Centre located in Inner Regional Australia.
Category Three: Outer Regional & Remote Little Athletics Centre of the Year
A Little Athletics Centre located in Outer Regional, Remote and Very Remote Australia.
Prizes for the Coles Centre of the Year Recipients
Coles will provide a $2,000 Coles e-Gift Card to each of the category winners.
Coles Little Athletics Australia will provide a Coles Little Athletics Australia Centre of the Year Category Winners Trophy.
A physical OR virtual appearance for category winners from a Coles and/or Little Athletics Australia Ambassador within 12 months of winning the award.
