Justin Thomas looked great at the last PGA Tour tournament, the Valspar Championship. The American golfer looked phenomenal from the first day, but Viktor Hovland managed to win the tournament with incredible moves at the end of the tournament.

Thomas is happy and focused on positive things after this tournament, as he wants to transfer his good form to the next tournaments.

Of course, the experienced golfer has a special motive because of the Ryder Cup.

Thomas admitted it on the press.

Namely, the American hopes to be part of the US team at this year’s Ryder Cup, just as Jordan Spieth.

“I think both of us would probably be lying if we said no. I mean, he got it going, hopefully Keegan was watching, I think we had a good best ball today,” Thomas said, as quoted by The Golfing Gazette.

“But, I mean, a little bit. We obviously enjoy each other’s company and have played and are comfortable playing with each other and played a lot of golf together.”

Justin Thomas shares his views

Justin is delighted with his performance, although he is probably somewhat disappointed because he was denied the victory. However, there is no doubt that such performances will attract the attention of Keegan Bradley, the captain of the US team, who wants to have the best golfers on the roster.

Thomas is a golfer who certainly belongs to the very top of the golf scene, but we know that the competition seems stronger than ever before.

“But definitely makes it a lot better when you’re out a little earlier than you would like on a Saturday morning, but you can kind of get the crowd into it. And we made a couple putts there on 4 and then he made a long one there on 7 and it seemed like that kind of got the crowd going and that’s fun for us.”- he concluded.

We’ll see what decisions the US captain makes.
