UFC Vegas 104 results: Biggest winners, loser from ‘Vettori vs. Dolidze 2’ last night

UFC Vegas 104 went down last night (Sat., March 15, 2025) inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, which saw Roman Dolidze defeat Marvin Vettori via unanimous decision in the headlining act (recap here). In the co-main event, Chidi Njokuani defeated Elizeu Zaleski via technical knockout (TKO) in the second round (see it again here).

Biggest Winner: Roman Dolidze

Everyone was upset UFC decided to book an unwarranted rematch between Vettori and Dolidze, but one man who wasn’t was Dolidze himself. Indeed, “The Caucasian” made the proper adjustments from the first fight and wound up getting his much-desired revenge by defeating “The Italian Dream” after 25 minutes of action via unanimous decision. Dolidze has now won three straight fights and is a lock to get a spot in the Top 10 following his big win.

Runner Up: Carlos Vera

Vera was the biggest underdog of the night, coming in at +500 against previously-undefeated newcomer, Josias Musasa. Undeterred, Vera went out and upset all the bookies by submitting “The K.O. Wizard” in the very first round (see it again here). It’s a great way to bounce back after coming up short in his own UFC debut over a year ago.

Biggest Loser: Diyar Nurgozhay

As if missing weight by a whopping five pounds wasn’t a bad enough way to kick off your UFC career, getting choked out in the very first round was the icing on the cake for Diyar Nurgozhay. Indeed, the UFC newcomer came in heavy for his bout against Brendson Ribeiro, which outraged fight fans around the globe. A win would’ve helped him save face, but he wound up tapping to slick kimura (see it again here). To recap: he got on Dana White’s bad side, forfeited 25-percent of his purse after missing weight and lost his undefeated record all in a little over 24 hours. Now, there is no telling if he will get another chance to make a better impression inside the Octagon.
