Conor McGregor has been spotted viciously attacking a man in a nightclub.
Even with him not competing inside the octagon for almost four years, ‘The Notorious’ is rarely out of the headlines. Every few weeks, the Irishman tends to do something to put him right back into the public eye, but this time, the spotlight is on him for all the wrong reasons.
It wasn’t too long ago that Conor McGregor was in the news pushing for presidency in his home country of Ireland, but those aspirations may be difficult to achieve with the consistent controversy that surrounds his name.
Adding to a long list of problematic moments he has been involved in during his time outside of the octagon, McGregor landed on the front pages after recently knocking out a man in a nightclub.
The UFC star has been spotted partying with British TV personality Katie Price and former footballer Gary Lineker’s younger brother, Wayne. The trio was snapped in Ibiza, ahead of the nightclub attack.
While standing on a platform, Conor McGregor was seen talking to a man and seemingly embracing him in the club, though things later took a sour turn.

McGregor landed two solid left hands on the man, sending him crashing to the floor. It is unclear what sparked the attack, but an eyewitness has released a statement following the events.
“Clearly something’s been said to annoy him, and he’s reacted very badly. The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away.”
“There [didn’t appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away, and I didn’t see him again.” [h/t The Sun]
