The Kansas City Chiefs took a look at four tryout players during Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp practice.
WR Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan
Signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the 2024 NFL Draft, Knue spent his rookie year on Tampa Bay’s practice squad. Coming in at 5 feet 11 and 178 pounds, Knue collected 154 receptions for 1,866 yards and 17 touchdowns over 37 college games.
TE Geor’Quarius Spivey, TCU
This 6-foot-5, 238-pound tight end actually spent most of 2024’s training camp with Kansas City before being released in the final cutdown — and played with the UFL’s Houston Roughnecks in their 2025 season. He spent three years at Mississippi State before transferring to TCU in 2021, collecting a total of 28 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown over 52 college games.
OT Ricky Lee, North Carolina State
An undrafted free agent for the Carolina Panthers in 2023, the 6-foot-5, 289-pound tackle played in six games before the team released him at 2024’s final cutdown. Since then, he’s spent time on the practice squads of the Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.
C Joe Lombard, South Dakota
Checking in at 6 feet 5 and 305 pounds, Lombard spent his entire college career with the Coyotes, becoming the starting center in his redshirt sophomore season after starting 11 games at left guard in the previous two years.
