Jamie Murray fully supports Carlos Alcaraz's habit of going to Ibiza to relax as the Queen's tournament director reveals his brother Andy Murray "regretted" not taking more time to enjoy some of his accomplishments.
In case you missed it – as soon as the Spanish tennis star won his fifth Grand Slam title at the French Open – he hit an Ibiza trip with his friends.
For some, it didn't come as a surprise since Alcaraz has often gone on Ibiza trips over the last couple of months. And after clinching his maiden French Open triumph by completing one of the most stunning Grand Slam final comebacks, he decided to once again go to the Spanish island and celebrate his success there.
But as was the case in the past, some had an issue with Alcaraz going on a mid-season trip and partying.

"I like the way he (Carlos) does it. In tennis, the season is so long, and there’s so many events to play that, you know, it’s easy to have your success and immediately start looking to the next event and preparing for that, and actually not taking the time to enjoy your success in that moment," the Queen's tournament director said.
"I think Andy, at times, regretted that when he looked back, he’s like, I wish I’d enjoyed that moment more. And, you know, I’m glad that he’s enjoying his time in the moment that it has come for him. And I think that’s a good kind of life balance, right?"
Meanwhile, Alcaraz is the top-seeded player at this year's Queen's tournament. At the same club, he won his first grass title two years ago. Last year, his title defense came to an end in the round-of-16 following a loss to Jack Draper.
This year, Alcaraz is meeting fellow Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the Queen's first round.
