Keep track of the Indiana Pacers’ attempt to go up 2-0 on the favored Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals.

The OKC Thunder (68-14), the top seed in the Western Conference, are now tied 1-1 with the No. 4 Eastern Conference seed Indiana Pacers (50-32) and OKC is the prohibitive favorite.

FINAL: Thunder 123, Pacers 107

Analysis: The OKC Thunder tied the series at 1-1 as the series heads to Indiana for Game 3 on June 11 and Game 4 on June 13. 2025 NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished the game with 34 points and 8 assists. SGA also made 11-12 three throws and had five rebounds. OKC is now 5-0 in the 2025 post-season following a loss.

OKC had a 48-34 bench scoring advantage, with Alex Caruso netting 20 points and Aaron Wiggins adding 18 points.

Tyrese Haliburton finished with 17 points, with five points through three quarters for the Pacers.

OKC was more relaxed and didn’t panic. Jalen Williams finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the Thunder. The team statistics didn’t show a big discrepancy in any major category. Indiana never threatened in the final minutes of the game.

4th Quarter: Thunder 123, Pacers 107

2:00 — It looks like the Pacers have conceded this game and their big guns are out. Doesn’t look like there will be a miracle comeback this time. It’s mostly garbage time now. (118-103, OKC)

4:00 — The OKC crowd is on its feet, as it doesn’t feel there will be another incredible Indiana comeback. (111-94, OKC)

7:29 — Aaron Wiggins hits his fifth 3-pointer and now has 17 points off the bench, as does Alex Caruso. OKC has 39 bench points so far. (107-85, OKC)

8:02 — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is up to 27 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and it seems effortless. The NBA MVP is playing like it without much fanfare. (102-82, OKC)

9:53 — OKC is maintaining its lead, but Indiana is trying to create havoc on the defensive end, led by Myles Turner. The clock is moving different in this game compared to game 1, as it will be much more difficult for Indiana to comeback in the finals three or four minutes. (98-78, OKC)

3rd Quarter: Thunder 93, Pacers 74

Analysis: OKC is swarming defensively and Indiana can’t get on track offensively. Indiana is shooting 38.7 percent from the field. The big difference in the points in the paint (34-26, OKC), as the Thunder are finding and converting much easier shots.

1:45 — Aaron Nesmith hits another 3-pointer, his fourth, to cut Indiana’s deficit to 17 points. (89-72, OKC)

3:59 — Tyrese Haliburton hits a running baseline shot, and now has two field goals for the game. Statistically, the Pacers are not getting outplayed as they were in Game 1. (79-64, OKC)

5:15 — Aaron Wiggins hits a 3-pointer and how has 11 points off the bench, which includes 3-of-4 3-pointers. (79-60, OKC)

6:31 — Alex Caruso now has 13 points off the bench, but Myles Turner answers for the Pacers. (74-58, OKC)

7:42 — Tyrese Haliburton has 3 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, but the Pacers are still cutting its deficit. Can OKC put this team away or will it let Indiana stick around? (68-54, OKC)

9:35 — The Pacers still don’t have a double-digit scorer. Keep in mind, OKC lead the entire first game until the final possession. But this game feels a bit different. (66-46, OKC)

As the second half of the game beings, the Thunder’s biggest lead with 23 points.

2nd Quarter: Thunder 59, Pacers 41 (HALFTIME)

Analysis: OKC has a 26-12 advantage in paint points and have held the Pacers to 34.9 percent from the field shooting. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads OKC with 15 points while Chet Holmgren  had added 11 points for the Thunder. No player for the Pacers has hit double-figures offensively. The run for OKC was at 19-2 when the lead was 52-29.

2:04 — Alex Caruso nails a 3-pointer to make it 57-39, as OKC maintains control of the game. (57-39, OKC)

4:00 — The Indiana Pacers have 8 turnovers, but they have overcome the turnovers before. Thunder playing with plenty of more energy.

5:00 — OKC is on the verge of blowing this game open up, as the Thunder lead 50-29 after an Aaron Wiggins 3-pointer. (50-29, OKC)

7:06 — After a dunk by Chet Holgrem OKC is on a 9-0 run and leads 42-27. (42-27, OKC)

7:32 — OKC has its largest lead of the game at 38-27 and not Jalen Williams is going to the line. (38-27, OKC)

1st Quarter: Thunder 26, Pacers 20

Analysis:  No team has ever won a NBA Finals after trialing 2-0 at home. Keep that in mind.

The Thunder closed the first quarter on a 9-0 run.
