On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs get back to work at their practice facility on the grounds of the Truman Sports Complex, continuing Phase 3 of their offseason program.
This will be the fourth in 10 days of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs). No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed.
In the three days of practice beginning on Monday, the first two sessions will be closed. But on Wednesday, reporters will be allowed to observe — and then have the opportunity to speak with head coach Andy Reid (and others). Just like last Thursday, our Pete Sweeney will be among them — and will provide a rundown of everything he sees during that day’s practice.
The final four days of Phase 3 will be conducted Tuesday through Friday of next week. Reporters will be allowed to observe Thursday’s session.
Kansas City’s three-day mandatory minicamp will run from Tuesday, June 17 through Thursday, June 19. We’ll have reports from all three days of those practices.
