MARION CENTER, Pa. — Due to pop-up thunderstorms bringing heavy rain to the Marion Center, area on Friday afternoon, officials from the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision and Marion Center Raceway have agreed to cancel the Friday portion of the Connor Bobik Memorial.
The decision was made after consultation with Precision Weather Service with the interest of traveling race teams and fans in mind and to ensure the facility is ready for racing on Saturday.
The Connor Bobik Memorial finale remains on as scheduled, culminating with a 60-lap, $30,000-to-win World of Outlaws Feature on Saturday night.
