The lone May evaluation period is just a few days away.
Beginning Friday at 8 a.m. through Sunday at 4 p.m., college coaches can evaluate prospects at certified NCAA events. It will be the first and only opportunity of the spring for the new IU basketball coaching staff to watch the prospects they’ve offered in recent weeks.
The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) will be in Memphis, Tennessee, the adidas 3SSB will be in Council Bluffs, Iowa and the Under Armour Association will be in Hamilton, Ohio.
Here’s a look at the confirmed scholarship offers so far for Indiana in the class of 2026:
Prospects are ordered alphabetically by their last name.
Davion Adkins
Adkins, listed as a 6-foot-8 center, is considered the No. 25 prospect nationally in the rising senior class by the 247Sports Composite rankings. He attends Faith Family Academy of Oak Cliff (Tex.).
The four-star prospect is ranked as the No. 1 center in his class. He has a long list of offers that also includes Arizona State, Cal, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Oregon, Rutgers, SMU, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech.
Adkins is playing for Southern Assault AAU this spring and summer on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
Latrell Allmond
The 6-foot-8, 225-pound big man plays at John Marshall in Richmond, Virginia and for Team Loaded on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
Allmond is considered a four-star prospect and the No. 43 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
According to MaxPreps.com, he averaged 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 blocked shots, 1.7 steals and 1.4 assists last season as a junior at John Marshall.
Allmond has offers from Florida State, Georgetown, Louisville, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Ole Miss, Providence, Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas A&M, VCU, Virginia and several other schools.
Caleb Gaskins
Gaskins, a 6-foot-7 forward, is ranked as the No. 12 player in his class by the 247Sports Composite. He attends Columbus (Fla.).
He also has a long list of scholarship offers, which includes Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi State, Texas and Washington.
Gaskins plays for Nightrydas Elite on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit.
Sammy JacksonÂ
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound Jackson plays at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and for Team Final in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
Jackson is considered a four-star prospect and is ranked the No. 94 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
In addition to landing the IU offer, Jackson has also set a visit to Bloomington. According to Dushawn London of 247Sports, Jackson plans to be in Bloomington June 13-14. In addition to the IU visit, Jackson also plans to visit Texas June 16-17, according to London.
As a junior at Roman Catholic, Jackson earned second-team All-state honors in Class 6A. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals and made 51 3-pointers. He helped his team advance to the PIAA 6A championship game.
Taylen Kinney
The 6-foot-1 Kinney is originally from Newport, Kentucky, but played this past season in Overtime Elite in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s playing for Wildcat Select on the adidas 3SSB circuit this spring and summer.
Kinney is rated the No. 16 player nationally and the No. 4 point guard in the 2026 class by the 247Sports Composite.
He has a lengthy list of scholarship offers that includes Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Creighton, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee Texas A&M and Xavier.
Prince-Alexander Moody
The 6-foot-4 Moody is listed as a combo guard by 247Sports and is rated the No. 149 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
He attends Bishop McNamara in Maryland plays for Team Takeover on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit.
Moody also has scholarship offers from Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, Providence, Virginia Tech and several other schools.
Indiana assistant coach Kenny Johnson has close ties to the Team Takeover program, which features many of the top players from the DMV area.
Jordan Smith
The 6-foot-2 guard plays at Paul VI Catholic in Fairfax, Virginia and for Team Takeover on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit.
Smith has offers from Duke, Louisville, Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgetown, Houston, Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Providence, Syracuse, Villanova and Virginia Tech.
Smith is ranked as the No. 4 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. He won a gold medal last summer with USA Basketball on the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup team in Turkey.
Ethan Taylor
The 7-foot Taylor plays at Shawnee Mission Northwest in Shawnee, Kansas and for Mokan Elite on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit.
Taylor reported the IU offer following a conversation with new assistant coach Rod Clark.
He’s rated as the No. 5 center nationally in the 2026 class according to the 247Sports Composite and the No. 49 player overall.
Taylor also has scholarship offers from Missouri, Oklahoma, Purdue and Tennessee.
Anthony Thompson
Offered by the previous staff, the new IU staff has continued to recruit Thompson, who plays for Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) and for Indiana Elite on the adidas 3SSB circuit.
The 6-foot-8 Thompson is considered a five-star prospect and is the No. 11 player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite. He has taken multiple unofficial visits to Bloomington in the past.
His top 15 schools are Auburn, BYU, Georgetown, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas, and Xavier.
